Located in the heart of Saint-Lary at the foot of the majestic Tour Hachan and the town hall, the Maison du parc national was enlarged and totally refurbished in 2014.

The maison du parc National des Pyrénées is a rich, varied and fun museum space. Ideal for families, you can discover the flora and fauna of the great natural spaces near Saint-Lary.

A layout

Redesigned for the public

The new interior layout features specially adapted spaces for exploring the forest in Aure Valley and its natural habitats. Outside, a pathway leads visitors to a better understanding of the eco-responsible use of wood. A 55-seat auditorium completes the installation.

Good news for the planet

The house was designed to limit energy consumption. The project was carried out according to the HQE (High Environmental Quality) approach, i.e. in compliance with the various existing targets in order to obtain the eco-label.
