Label Qualité Confort-Hébergement Saint-Lary

The Tourist Office created this label to promote the destination’s tourist real estate. This internal label for Saint-Lary complements the ministerial “meublé de tourisme” classification, which offers certain advantages, notably tax benefits, but does not fully meet the comfort criteria demanded by customers. This Quality approach provides the impetus for a move upmarket in accommodation quality.

Tourism Quality

The Saint-Lary Tourist Office is committed to the quality approach supported bythe Qualité Tourisme TM brand. This commitment is in line with the agreement on resources and objectives signed with the commune of Saint-Lary-Soulan. The quality approach is a process of continuous improvement of the organization to achieve its objectives and respect its commitments. It is a frame of reference for all Tourist Office staff, in the exercise of their respective missions, as well as for the Management Committee. Our objectives: – Gather customer satisfaction for the destination as a whole. – To achieve a level of welcome, hospitality and service that is recognized by the destination’s customers. – Achieve success and sustainability for the destination’s players, businesses and organizations. – Maintain a tourist activity that is useful to the development of people and non-destructive of the natural balance. The Tourist Office organizes or co-organizes events focusing on biodiversity and the natural environment, such as the Rencontres Mer et Montagne, the ABC de la biodiversité (Parc National des Pyrénées), the Fête de l’écotourisme, various exhibitions, and the project to set up an area for observing the universe. GREEN STATION

Station Verte is a tourism label created in 1964 by the French Federation of Green Resorts and Snow Villages. A Station Verte is a welcoming territory in the heart of the terroir, recognized at national level as an organized resort offering meaningful stays, in favor of nature tourism that is authentic, human and respectful of the environment.

Fishing station

A unique positioning for green resorts. The “Station Pêche” label allows you to discover and enjoy fishing at all levels, thanks to specially adapted courses that respect the aquatic environment. A Station Pêche has all the facilities you need to fish in the best possible conditions: fishing activities, loan of equipment or boats, on-site fishing accommodation. A Station Pêche also offers a host of events and festivities in the commune.

Handicap Tourism

The “Tourisme & Handicap” label, created in 2001, aims to provide reliable, descriptive information on the accessibility of tourist sites and facilities for people with disabilities. Saint-Lary takes into account all four types of disability (hearing, mental, visual and motor) in order to develop and offer tourist facilities adapted to all.

Towns and Villages in Bloom

Villes et Villages Fleuris – Obtaining the regional “2ème fleur” label in 2021 On August 5, 2021, the Mayor, elected representatives and technical services received the jury of the regional association of Villeset Villages Fleuris.lus and the technical services team met with the jury of the regional association of “Villes et Villages Fleuris” (Towns and Villages in Bloom) with a view to obtaining a 2nd Flower. The commune is aiming for a 3rd Fleur, confirming its commitment to the long-term beautification of the village and to the preservation of biodiversity.

TheTour de FranceVille à Vélo label is a label, launched in 2021 by Amaury Sport Organisation and more specifically by Tour de France, which aims to encourage all initiatives taken by municipalities in favor of everyday cycling.

Awarded by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, the “Ville et Pays d’Art et d’Histoire” label maintains a network of over 160 towns offering their French know-how. The label is awarded to areas that promote and enhance their heritage, while ensuring architectural quality and quality of life. The Aure and Louron valleys have held the “Ville et Pays d’Art et d’Histoire” label since January 10, 2008.

Esprit parc national is a registered trademark owned by the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB), and is used in all 11 of France’s national parks. Local products, accommodation, restaurants, activities and outings are exclusively located in the 11 national parks.
