Where to ski during ski lessons

of your children in Saint-Lary

You’ve signed your kids up for ski lessons, and you’re not sure how long you’ll be able to ski? Here’s some advice …

Some little tips for those who don’t yet know the resort well and don’t want to arrive late to pick up their children at the end of ski lessons.

For children who have run 3 hours

First option

For the brave early birds and good skiers who go everywhere, you obviously have the option of skiing at Espiaube. If the children’s lessons finish at 1 p.m., it’s time to start thinking about the return journey to Pla d’Adet, as you’re not the only ones picking up your children at this time…. So head for the bouleaux chairlift to Soum de Matte, which will take you to Espiaube (blue or red run)
To return to Pla d’Adet from Espiaube, you need to take the Lita chairlift, follow the lita balcony, and signpost Pla d’Adet next.

At Les Mickeys, go down to the right alongside the Garlitz ski lift, and at this intersection take the Garlitz path which leads straight to the ski school departure plateau. If you’ve missed the junction you can always use the kidpark’s conveyor belt, but watch the time… as it will be crowded at rush hour… By the way, on this route there are only blue runs…

The second option

The second option for intermediate skiers you can stay on the area closest to the Pla d’Adet sector by navigating around the pistes served by the les bouleaux chairlift to Soum de Matte. Blue or red runs are available. Why not take the blue Corniche trail followed by the red Sorbiers, which takes you through the forest to the foot of the Espiaube gondola. From here you can take the shuttle to the Pla d’Adet and the beginners’ area.
