Chemin de l’ardoisière
From Vielle-Aure or Saint-Lary, follow itinerary no. 5 on our Balades et Randonnées map, which will take you on a loop to a lovely viewpoint over the valley. For the early risers, you can admire the sunrise.
For ski touring enthusiasts or simply if you ski on the resort, don’t miss the viewpoint at the top of the Col du Portet, Espiaube sector and in particular the blue trail “Les balcons de Mouscades”

Les granges de Grascoueou, which you can see from Saint-Lary village just by looking up to the northwest, are easy to access on foot even in winter (with snowshoes) from the village of Soulan. It’s a 3-hour half-day round trip, but the morning light is very beautiful! Beware of weather and snow conditions!
Les crêtes d’Azet: A 360° view of the Aure Valley and the Louron Valley! Not to be missed! Starting from the Col d’Azet.
-A La station de Saint Lary, secteur Espiaube, ski aux pieds reach the start of la piste bleue de Peyramède. The Cols d’Azet and Peyresourde stand out in front of you, as do the magnificent eastern peaks of this part of the Pyrenees.
