Anecdote

The sodic sulfur springs in our valleys have been known since the Middle Ages. The first spa dates back to 1890 at Cadéac les bains (hence the name of the village), thanks in particular to the railroad that brought visitors to the Arreau station. The Cadéac baths were abandoned in the 1930s.
