The Saint-Lary ski area spans different slopes from 1650 to 2515 meters in altitude, 100 kilometers of trails and different terrain configurations: sometimes high mountain, sometimes forest… A wealth of scenery and exposure that has the big advantage of guaranteeing you can ski in any snow conditions!

Local children have talent!

Isabelle Mir is considered one of the greatest downhill racers in the history of French skiing. In this discipline, she won two silver medals, at the 1968 Olympic Games in Grenoble and the 1970 world championships, two crystal globes in the specialty, in 1968 and 1970.

A family of Champions in snowboarding

Xavier De Le Rue specializes in the cross-country event, of which he was twice world champion in 2003 and 2007 and once world vice-champion in 2009. Xavier de Le Rue also distinguished himself in Freeride, winning the Freeride World Tour in 2010 for the third year running.

He also took part in several editions of the famous X Games with success, winning , two gold medals, three silver and one bronze.

His brothers Paul-Henri de Le Rue won bronze at the Turin Olympics in 2006 snowboard cross and Victor de Le Rue followed in his older brother’s footsteps and won the Freeride World Tour in snowboarding in 2019 and 2021.
